Chips is a project started in 2013 and finished on Tuesday 19th January 2016. I wanted to write music with a chiptune style, but I wanted it to be a glitchy sort of chiptune. Playing Fez sealed the idea with bitcrushing and subtle distortion, and I added smoother synth elements along with poppy rhythms and melodies to finally come to the conclusion that is this album. This is a foray into simple, plain-faced happy music, a nice time amongst bitcrushers and bass lines, so please enjoy.
Unfortunately, despite the album art and title, there are no free potato chips with this album.
